“Battlestar Galactica” Star Katee Sackhoff Joins “24”

“Battlestar Galactica” made its series finale a couple months ago, however one of its top stars has already found a new home.

Katee Sackhoff will be another big name added to the next season “24”. She will play Dayna Pakkala, a data analyst for CTU NY.

Her character will also have a relationship with fellow agent Davis Cole, who will be played by Freddie Prinze Jr.

The eighth season of the FOX drama “24” will premiere on January 17th, 2010.

It’s Official: Comedy Central To Bring Back Futurama (UPDATED)

Family Guy did it a few years back, now another animated series is making its return from the dead.

Thanks to successful DVD sales, and the launch of straight-to-DVD movies, Comedy Central will be bringing back the FOX animated comedy Futurama.

Reports indicate that the network has ordered 13 episodes. Although no official word has been made, production and casting call is already underway.

Futurama originally aired on FOX from 1999 to 2003. After the Cartoon Network picked up the series to air repeats four films were produce after 2007.

It is unknown when the new Futurama will air. Tune in for more details.

It’s now official folks. Comedy Central has ordered 26 epsiodes of the animated series, and will begin airing early 2010.

Bret Michaels of “Poison” Brings Down the House at The Tonys (Or House Comes Down on Him)

The Tonys are an annual event to celebrate the best of the stage. Ironically, last night’s most memorable moment was when the stage came down on a performer.

Bret Michaels and his band “Poison” performed last night during the award show, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris. But highlight reel moment came at the end of their performance.

On his way off the stage, Bret Michaels just walks into the set as it was descending. It clotheslined him, sending him crashing to the ground.

The “Rock of Love” star wasn’t seriously injured during this incident.
